Data Table Component

The Data Table component displays records from a connected data source in rows and columns — with sorting, filtering, conditional formatting, and click-to-run actions. This guide walks through connecting a source, then links out to a deep-dive page for each of the table's major capabilities.

Connecting a data source

1. Select the Data Table component on the canvas to open its Properties panel.
2. Open the Data Source section. Click the Data Connection field to open the source picker.
3. Choose a Collection — this can be a MergeBase table, a synced Airtable/Supabase table, or another connected source.
4. Optionally add a Filter underneath the collection picker to control which records the table shows. Filters are written as a formula (there's an Ask AI shortcut if you'd rather describe the filter in plain language than write it yourself).

Once a collection is selected, the table's columns automatically populate from that collection's fields.
